Recycling Solid waste project with S.D.F GmbH - Germany
Based on our belief that preserving the environment is one of the most important contemporary issues; an exclusive agency agreement was signed with S.D.F GmbH company in Germany in 2018, to work on a solid waste recycling project that the company decided to implement in Jordan. The project aimed to convert the organic materials in the waste into fertilizer and energy, and Recycle and reuse of inorganic solid waste.
• The project contained the following recycling processes:
• Recycling of organic materials
• Producing glass powder from glass waste
• Carton industry from waste paper
• Recycling of plastic from plastic waste
• Metal recycling
Rehabilitation of teachers program
USAID-funded training and employment program, which deals with the training and employment of young people from the ages of 18-35 years in several areas that serve the labor market. A number of courses were given through cooperation with the Technical Academy for Vocational Training in many governorates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan (10-Mar-2019 to 5-Sep-2019) in fields of:
• Secretarial and data entry courses with cooperation with Al-shaimaa center in Irbid (25) trainees.
• Shaving courses for both women and men courses with cooperation with Al-shaimaa center in Irbid (43) trainees and Shahm center in Madaba (51)trainees.
• Graphic design courses cooperation with Al-shaimaa center in Irbid (8) Trainees.
• Hybrid cars maintenance courses in different car service centers for (20) trainees.
• Waiters and chefs courses with cooperation with Desert Star Co. (5) trainees.
• Training courses for (135) new teachers in cooperation with different schools in Amman, Ma’an and Irbid .
Our partnership with the Vocational Training Corporation
We signed an agreement with the general secretary of the ministry of labor, Engineer Hani Khlaifat the General Director of the Vocational Training corporation after demonstrating the programs of social Development and vocational training which our institution sponsors, explaining the strategies the institution applies in training , and after discussing the ways of co-operation between the two institutions in what serves to provide more vacancies and training opportunities for unemployed youth in Jordan.
The aim of cooperation is to bring about positive change to the educational and vocational training outcomes that we were keen to participate in achieving through the strategies, plans and programmes that were implemented to reach comprehensive community development and empowerment.
